Working it out…
  • (My novella...) Has a title!!!! Ready? Here goes: BETWEEN! Yay! It's a 15k word LGBT YA about a girl, a genie, and a ton of bad choices. Beta-reads and edits are done! Now it's off to the anthology line-editor, and then will get a shiny cover made before releasing sometime around May-ish! :D
  • (Holidays) Gotta say, kinda glad they're done cos I'm tired! lol Ended up getting a cold, which has lasted for the past two weeks... Arrg! >.<
  • (Witch Way to Turn) Sooo there are things going on! You may not know, but my publisher (Lyrical Press) merged with Kensington Publishing. For a bit, Witch Way to Turn is not going to be available for sale, but! I'm not upset or worried, because everything happens for a reason. As soon as I have more info, I'll let you know. Ohhh, and I'm back to revisions on book 2 in the series!! I sooo want to share it with y'all!

Longing - Chapter 1 (snippet #26)...

Taylor wanted to reply. Wanted to walk across the room, sit at Zoe’s feet and ask her to read something. Anything. But the flame began to cool as an icy path of reality chilled her. With or without a new heart, death would be Zoe’s fate. Taylor couldn’t bear to watch it happen. She didn’t allow herself any more time to drink in the innocence of the girl’s face. Nor did she allow herself to ask a question and hear the melody of Zoe’s response.

No, Taylor dug her hands into her pockets, spun and walked away. The sound of her heels clicking across the glossy, tile floor echoed the responding ache inside of her.

Donna said something about missed opportunities, but Taylor ignored her and headed straight for her father’s office. The beautiful girl had finally seen her, spoken to her…and what had Taylor done? She’d walked away. Yes, breaking the tie before it had been properly knotted seemed the best idea. But even as she strode down the hall, she knew she had just made the greatest mistake of her existence.
