Longing - Chapter 1 (snippet #18)...
Taylor parked on the third level of the three-story deck—even though her father insisted she park in the staff visitor parking directly outside the main entrance. She didn’t need special treatment.
She took the stairs to make herself as warm as possible before walking inside the frozen building. Forcing herself not to go by room 534, Taylor shoved her hands into her coat pockets and headed straight for her father’s office. As she passed by the children’s play room, the resolve she’d managed to muster melted and longing froze her feet to the shiny tile floor. Taylor knew Zoe read to the kids on Wednesdays and Fridays before lunch. She hadn’t been avoiding the girl but going straight for her, like a bee to pollen. Instinct or need, either way, torturing herself had obviously been in the forefront of her subconscious.

- (Am reading) Through the Zombie Glass by Gena Showalter! Book #2 in the White Rabbit Chronicles. Fantastic spin on zombies...they live and feed among us in the spiritual world... Creepy awesomeness!
- (Finished) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green on Audible annnnd ZOMG!! That book was AMAZING. It was super said, but ohhh so beautifully written. Highly recommend.
