Set-up (last week)... Greta runs away from her surprise engagement party through the woods. Pax saves her from a shadow demon. Oh, and he's a unicorn!
Back at Pax's cabin, Greta and Pax talk. He tells her that the shadow has fed on her emotions. And that it's definitely someone she knows...

No way. I’d know if someone was a demon...Right? “How can you be so sure?”
“Someone who knows you, is close to you, would have the easiest access to you. They could touch you, which makes feeding easier. And they’d know the moment you’re miserable or scared.”
Scratch the buffet, I was a twenty-four-hour diner. But for who?
