Longing - Chapter 1 (snippet #9)... 

She traced the steering wheel before starting the ignition. The light tan of the rich leather upholstery filled her vision. Color. While she still possessed a sliver of self restraint, she would appease her beast and possibly have a few more days of peace.

Despite the sauna-like temperature in her car, she couldn’t be too cautious, she switched on the heat before reaching into the glove-compartment for the list. It had been a week since the last time. If she intended to stay in control, she would do a preemptive sacrifice.

Reading...

• (Update) 41% into Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King! OMG, sooo good!!! The story is very much 'told' from an omniscient observer's perspective (which I normally don't care for), but it's sooo intriguing. I'm hooked!
• (NEW) Soo this isn't exactly book related BUT it is artsy! I'm hooked on the Podcast called Night Vale...it is sooo freakin' hilariously creepy! And the dude's voice is sooo yummy! Check out the teaser below...

Random Alert! Alert. Alert. Alert...  

My lunch on Sunday... Went on a date with the hubs...beautiful weather to sit outside...and that's an Italian grilled cheese sammich with bacon...delish!! ;)

Saw these Sunday at a little cafe... Freakin' love hanging lights! The pic doesn't do them justice...but! I so want some of these in my house and outside someday :D

ZOMG, in case you somehow missed my tweets and FB posts about this (:P) these are our newest office pets! Five adorable little Mexican jumping beans named: Jack, Princess Toadstool (mine), Ernie, Mr. Bean and Bob. They are actually little moth larvas that will eat their way out of the bean in the spring and then live for a couple days...so we are gonna love the little things like there is no tomorrow!
