My Midweek Mayhem, Reviews, Giveaway and Hunger Games Pix all for 8/22/12!

Hi y'all! Things might actually be calming down a little. *takes a deep breath* Maybe I'll get to relax this weekend? Hm. Not likely. LOL

Working it out…
  • Please vote for Witch Way to Turn's book trailer - it's entry #17 in the You Gotta Read Reviews Contest! (vote here) Thank you so much if you've already voted! It means a lot to me. I absolutely adore the trailer that my editor, Danielle Fine, created and want it to win!! :o)
  • Awesome new reviews for Witch Way to Turn: Mostly YA Obsessed and Dana's YA Bookpile (have to scroll down a bit to see the review on this one). Woot!!
  • On the right-side of my blog is a list of stops I'm on all this month touring for Witch Way to Turn. Poof on by! (WWTT humor...teehee)
  • Today I'm at Books, Books, and More Books! Hope you'll stop by and enter the giveaway :)
Hearing voices…
  • Am pluggin' away on book #2 in the Witch Way series. Current word count is a little over 58,000 words! (On an un-related note: I've been mulling over a short-story that popped into my mind Monday morning...dunno if it'll take shape yet...will know if I'm still thinking about it by the weekend!)
  • Here's a teaser line from book #2 I'm super happy with (as always, no spoilers to book #1 or #2). This is from Myles's POV. The rapid beat of her heart ripped Myles to shreds with wanting.
Waiting game…

Peeta's Bakery - District 12

District 12 scenes from the Hunger Games movie were shot in my hometown...a small town in North Carolina called Henry River. Last year when we went back for a visit the hubby humored me and we took a bunch of pix. Here's a couple for ya! Oh, and well, let's face it... I'm team Peeta... ALL THE WAY. That is all :)

Me trying to find Peeta! Bring me bread, cute boy!!! ;)

  4. I love your newsy posts. Waiting is the hardest thing I do. I think publishing is the only professino without deadlines until you are in the production line. Good luck.
