Even though Witch Way to Turn officially releases tomorrow... I couldn't leave y'all hangin' after that steamy start last Sunday with Running From Shadows. Hope you enjoy a little more hot stuff from Pax and Greta!

Today I'm sharing from my (unpublished) young adult paranormal romance Running From Shadows, currently being read by three lovely agents and an editor!! Squee!!

In this snippet Greta Shore (a 17-year-old, black-haired wiccan beauty) and Paxton "Pax" Craig (an 18-year-old, blond-haired college student with a dark secret) are continuing their moment of passion...

It's wrong... Forbidden.

He flattened me against the Jeep's backseat. I had to admit, it wasn’t the most comfortable position, but the fire between us had me reeling enough that I barely noticed.

His touch was soft and sure as he pushed the wrap from my shoulders, softly kissing the skin up to the curve of my neck.

My chest heaved and for a moment it seemed I could feel the sun on my skin. 

I wanted him. And I wondered if he felt it too...but we shouldn’t be together.

      Shadow demons and unicorns can't be together...they are mortal enemies. The fate of mankind rests on the choices these two make. If Greta chooses to kill Pax then all shadow demons will be destroyed. But, if Pax kills Greta then all shadow demons will gain immortality and feast on humans...forever! Bwahaha ;)
