  • Here's a teaser from book #2 I'm super happy with (as always, no spoilers to book #1 or #2).
  • (Myles's POV) Moments passed like centuries as he waited, hoped, prayed for her wound to close up. For her heart to continue to beat. For her life not to end.
Waiting game…
Cover Art by Danielle Fine
  • On week #18 of waiting to hear back from a lovely agent who is reading Running From Shadows.*continues to keep fingers and toes crossed and keeps querying*
  • On week #10 of waiting to hear back from the editor I pitched to at the RWA conference in July. *also continues to keep all possible body parts crossed*
Reading...
  • Am currently reading Keir by Pippa Jay (romance/science fiction)! Powerful and emotional read so far! Outcast. Cursed. Dying. Is Keir beyond redemption? 82% in and loving it! Just wish I had more time to read! One day :)
  • A favorite snippet from Keir: Fire pulsed under his skin wherever her lips touched him, and he grasped at her hair, hard-pressed to be gentle as need consumed him. It was torture beyond anything he had known. It was bliss beyond anything he had imagined. The red blaze of her passion and pleasure flooded his mind, blanking all coherent thought, binding them body and soul.

Bonus material...

As he ran the stars spiraled overhead, a dizzy kaleidoscope that snatched my breath away. With everything that’d happened, I should be afraid. But I wasn’t. He would never let anything happen to me.
He gave up everything to protect me. He gave up—

His gaze shifted from surveying the forest to me. I shivered. “The guy who’s saving your ass.”
“From what? What the hell is—”
“Quiet,” he said before taking off.

Join me as we go back to when Greta Shore (a 17-year-old, black-haired wiccan beauty) and Paxton "Pax" Craig (an 18-year-old, blond-haired college student with a dark secret) first meet. Well, when they think they first met. *winks*

It's wrong... Forbidden. And for a fleeting moment after Greta's been attacked by a shadow demon, she welcomes death...

Seconds later, I was scooped up into strong arms, held tight in an embrace that instantly made me feel safe, made me feel…home.
“Who are you?” I asked, and even I could hear the edge of wonder in my voice. He looked down at me and his eyes were silvered by moonlight, and familiar somehow. The world spun around us. There was a name caught like a promise between teeth and tongue, just out of reach.

Last time we visited Greta Shore (a 17-year-old, black-haired wiccan beauty) and Paxton "Pax" Craig (an 18-year-old, blond-haired college student with a dark secret), they were in the backseat of his Jeep, gettin' all hot and heavy...when they were interrupted by the redhead from the bookstore.

Now Greta knows, Destry has been checking out the competition. Greta won't stand for this, she demands to know who this girl is.

After the panic of someone catching Pax and I in the middle of, well, whatever we’d been in the middle of—I’d have to think that through later—Pax had slipped back into his shirt while I quickly tied my wrap shut. My hair felt mussed and my face had to be glowing with embarrassment, but I didn’t care. I wanted answers.
“I was tired of waiting.” Her reply was almost snippy and I thought I caught a flash of jealousy in her eyes. “And it’s a good thing I found you before you did something you’d regret,” she added for good measure, eying me.

More Greta and Pax to come next week!! Thanks again for stopping by! Your support and feedback is greatly appreciated! Get a sneak peek for more awesome authors at SSS.

The excitement was short-lived. A loud tap on the window behind me froze me in place. Very disheveled, sitting astride a shirtless guy. Turning around, I flattened my hand to the fogged-up window and made a circle to see out. I had a flash of Titanic, only Kate and Leo got to finish what they’d started.

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

More Pax and Greta to come in September!! Thanks again for stopping by! Your support and feedback is greatly appreciated! Get a sneak peek for more awesome authors at SSS.

Next week we'll be visiting Breena from Witch Way to Turn in a very steamy scene with one of the two hot supernatural boys vying for her affection!
